Aqualyx - Fat Dissolving

Aqualyx® is a compound of a substance that helps us to get rid of stubborn stubborn pockets of fat by dissolving the fatty cell membrane.  This means that without surgery - localised fat cells can be dissolved quickly and painlessly.  Aqualyx® liquefies the fat cell, destroying it permanently, releasing the lipids that are then eliminated naturally through the lymphatic system. It is important to note that this treatment is aimed for those with pockets of fat, this is not a weight loss treatment.

After a full consultation where we establish suitability for treatment and realistic expectations we inject Aqualyx® using exceptionally fine needles to promote optimum comfort into the localised fat cells. Each area being treated requires between 3-6 sessions each 3-4 weeks apart to dissolve all of the fat cells present.  The treatment sessions are relatively quick & painless allowing you to return to most normal activities straight away.

You will be fully briefed on aftercare at your appointment, it's important that you follow this advice to get the best results from your treatment.  The minimal downtime and instant results are the biggest advantages of this treatment.  You can expect the area treated to feel slightly itchy, red and tender after treatment.  There may also be  some slight bruising.  Wearing a compression garment can help optimise your results and we suggest that you purchase this ahead of your appointment as it helps reduce the post treatment swelling efficiently. Anti inflammatories shouldn't be taken as they impede the fat dissolving process.

Treatment with Aqualyx® is forbidden during pregnancy and lactation.  Those suffering with liposdystrophy, pathological conditions are not able to be treated.  We only offer these treatments to those over 18 and under 60 years old.
